Millet Treat
Ingredients:
[ ] 3 cups puffed millet
[ ] 75 grams butter
[ ] ½ cup honey
[ ] ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
[ ] ⅛ teaspoon salt
Method:
[ ] Line a small square or rectangular dish with baking paper
[ ] Melt the butter over low heat
[ ] Add the honey and stir continuously for 3 minutes until the mixture is smooth and slightly bubbly. Don't boil vigorously
[ ] Stir in the vanilla, salt and puffed millet
[ ] Fold quickly until every piece is coated
[ ] Cook for a further 3 minutes while stirring continuously
[ ] Transfer to the prepared tin
[ ] Press down firmly using baking paper on top
[ ] Refrigerate immediately for 3 hours before slicing with a very sharp knife
